I do not know if they have the latest firmware, but have limitations not described in most of these comments. They play SMV files, rather than NVX, around 200MB per hour, with maximum quality. Apart from the questionable quality of construction, the OLED screen, simply because it is worth the price. The most likely reason for the enormous size of the video files produced by software that is actually the video is uncompressed. MP4 is just a container not a codec. The software is probably the MP4 format to contain a first YUV or RGB - which is essentially a series of bitmaps without sequential compression at all. The calculations necessary to decode the compressed format (eg DivX, XviD) for audio / video stream that require more processing and therefore significantly reduce battery life. Certainly can not complain about the incredible prices and the simple fact that you can usually have a USB jump drive on your wrist wherever you go is impressive. The best part about this watch is its voice recorder. It was really an unexpected surprise! I have a digital camera and a recorder built into my laptop … compared both suck!
